RECONSTRUCTION IN 2020

RENOVATION OF THE WINDMILL FROM THE BEGINNING TO ITS OPENING TO THE PUBLIC

Later in 2018, soon after the municipal elections in Třebíč, the new council decided to renovate the windmill and to open it to the public. The plan to reconstruct the unique technical monument was one of the priority investments projects.

The project documentation was assigned to Archatt Památky Company, namely to Mr. Ing. Arch. Petr Řehořek. Since the preparation of the project documentation started, the project has been consulted with the responsible experts from the Czech National Heritage Board in Telč.

As renovation of the entire original milling device was not possible, the wind wheel was anchored in its original place and was equipped with an electric power drive.

The tender for realization of the Třebíč-Borovina Windmill Renovation Contract was won by MALANG s.r.o. Brno Company.
